For the week of Nov 18th-25th, Demilune Academics wants to focus on being thankful in honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving tradition. Demilune has currently been able to reach over 200 students through our combined efforts, and though that margin is comparatively small, it is a margin we are proud of and a quantifiable impact on our community. We are especially thankful for the continued expansion of our program and the opportunity to make a difference. This week, Co-founder Madeleine is thankful to walk her two dogs with her mother in the evenings after school. She sees much value in that tradition and the time she gets to spend with her mother, a working woman. Madeleine's 7 day star this week is to stay calm when your life appears to become excessively difficult. Difficulty is never permanent, and if you look for it, you can find ways to slow down and appreciate what you have in life.
